Merry Christmas

It was our first Christmas together this year. The day after Thanksgiving we went to the cabin and cut down a tree. It looked so perfect when it was sitting there in the snow. Ryan and I were excited we found a perfect tree. We were up the mountain and down with a tree in 20 minutes!! We strapped it to the top of Natalie's car and went home to put it up....let's just say it wasn't so perfect once we got it into our house. Well actually it was perfect, it was the perfect Charlie Brown tree. It had a big leaning problem. Then when I was putting lights on the branches, the lights were to heavy for the tiny branches, so the branches sagged. When you saw it from the outside it didn't even look like a Christmas tree. We loved it though. I just stole some of my moms decorations and called it good. Then on Christmas Eve we went with the Jones family to Grand Targhee on a Christmas Skiing Trip. It was so much fun. We rented a condo with our cousins, the Swaners. We went skiing Christmas day and the day after. We hauled all of our presents up there and opened them Christmas Eve night so that we could get up early to go skiing. Aunt Kathy stayed home to cook a delicious turkey dinner. While we were there we all got hooked on speed scrabble. It is the funnest game ever!
