Austin, Texas

My work sent me to a conference in Austin. It was a really fun conference. The company that puts it on is really "young", the owner himself is in his thirties so he made it "business" but really cool at the same time! The classes were good, and the night activities were way awesome, they would even be better if we were drinkers, because both night activities were in bars with free drinks. The bar tenders laughed when we asked for shirley temples (sprite mixed with cherrie sauce and a cherrie on top). The owner rented out the whole bar and made everything free: dinner, drinks, pool, air hockey, and video games. Ryan was in heaven!  

We also walked around town when we weren't in classes.  I think Austin has the weirdest people ever!  We saw one man that looked like a wizard!  He had a long white beard and a clock on.  He just walked around with his walking stick and directed traffic like he was magic...KOOK Ko KOOO KOOO

We also saw this indian man.  He also had a walking stick, long beard, and a SKIRT on with a butt flap in the back which showed of his little butt cheeks.  Unfortunetly we didn't get a picture of this...bummer I know.  

As we were walking around we found the BeSt ice cream ever.  It was called Amy's Ice Cream and is only found in Texas.  I had it every day we were there.
